Internship in Receptionist in 5-star-resort of an international chain in Lanzarote

In the south of the beautiful island Lanzarote this Hotel can be found, a magnificent complex awarded with five stars that forms part of a large, international group. They are looking for a student that is interested in gaining the competencies needed to be a professional in the tourism and hotel sector.

Do you want to assure your professional career as receptionist, waiter, in human resources, event managing or public relations? This experience will help you build the formation of your career in this sector.

The hotel is offering monthly remuneration and also provides accommodation in form of a shared room as well as free meals each day of your stay. You will also be provided the uniform and access to the washing machine. Working hours are flexible, like in every hotel in the world. • Welcoming guests and visitors of the hotel
• Check-in and check-out
• Assign rooms to the guests and accompany them to the rooms
• Handle all requests of guest before, during and after their stay
• Manage the cash register
• Answer phone calls, faxes and emails
• Offer information about the services of the hotel and tourist information about the area (Lanzarote and Canary Islands)
• Handle possible complaints and suggestions of guests and forward them to the supervisor in case they cannot be solved directly
• Other tasks related to the position
