Internship in Reception in a 4-star hotel in Girona

We are talking about a 4-star hotel, belonging to a Spanish hotel chain of great national importance, which has enjoyed hundreds of positive experiences with internship students since the 90’s. This hotel is located in Catalonia, on the Costa Brava.

For this reception internship, the 4-star hotel in Costa Brava is looking for a student with linguistic skills, foreign languages and an interest in hotel industry. The intern, always supervised by the Reception Manager, will have the following tasks:

• Offer tourist information, information about the region, the hotel and its services.
• Communicate, preferably in the client´s language (Spanish, English, French, Italian etc.) or in a common language
• Welcome the guests at check-in and register it after assigning the room.
• Register check-outs of clients.
• Maintain the work area, the reception and the lobby, in a perfect state, or inform the cleaning personnel to do that.
• Attend and pass the incoming calls.
• Handle possible incidents.
