This internship will take place in an amazing hotel group that includes hotels of 4 and 5 stars. This organisation has hotels in different locations throughout Spain and even in Mexico. They offer amazing resorts, with luxury rooms, restuarants and magnificient pools. One of their hotels is an eco hotel, which has earnt the group great recognition within the industry.Â
This group has 8 hotels located in Benidorm, Ibiza, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Lanzarote in Spain. In Mexico they have resorts in Cancún, los Cabos and Playa del Carmen.Â
In their team they have had various interns and students in all of the departments: reception, PR, tourism, kitchen, as well as events and animation.Â
The interns who have the pleasure of doing their internship in this hotel will have use of accommodation (10 minutes from the hotel), which is shared with other students, as well as meals and a monthly salary. They will be accompanied by the Head of the Department throughout the internship in order to make sure that the student has a full formation in all of the relevant tasks.Â
Internship tasks:
The student of practice at the Hotel worká under the supervision of the Head of reception as assistant to the área. Its main tasks are:
- Receive and welcome the new guests upon arrival.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, times, rooms and services.
- Register check-in and assign rooms based on bookings in system.
- Check-out and departures for guests, ensure that they have paid outstanding bills.
- Provide general and tourist information about the system, the environmental reserve and the services offered by the hotel regarding excursions.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, ensure that you always give the best image.
- Respect hotel regulations and comply with business hours
- Competition Price Study (revenue)
- Cooperates direct with the operational direction of the hotels in quality management, with direct contact throughout the surveys with customers for the determination of the satisfaction of the customers;
- Surveying surveys about the quality of hotels in direct contact with the huésped;
- Support in Internal Control tasks,
- Communication of the results to the directive of the respective hotel and executive committee;
- Translation of templates used to respond to comments on social networks;
