In Mexico working hours are different than in Europe: the standard schedule is six days a week for 8 hours a day, and thus with one day off a week. Of course, the hotel offers accommodation and board during the internship so that students have a safe refuge during their stay.

The student’s main tasks during their internship in this 5 star hotel will be to work with the team in the restaurant and bars during breakfast, lunch and dinner service. The intern, under the supervision of the Head of Area will participate in the following activities: 

• The organisation of the restaurant and bars before each service: tables, tablecloths and cuttlery. 
• The organisation and cleaning of the room after each service. 
• Customer service, answering queeries and giving advice about the dishes, food, drinks and opening hours of the restaurant. 
• Working during the hours of service. 
• Work with the team that organises the stock of drinks. 
• Make sure that the clients are satisfied and in good spirits during the service.
